Emerald EMS Names Uma Patravali President of Bestronics Division
Emerald Electronics Manufacturing Services (Emerald EMS), a leading global provider of manufacturing services for blue-chip original equipment manufacturers, announced today that Uma Patravali has been named president of the company’s Bestronics manufacturing division.
Patravali joins Emerald EMS with a wealth of experience. After being introduced to manufacturing by working in her father’s factory in India, Patravali earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Western Michigan University, which led to Quality Engineering roles in U.S.-based companies, including GE, Creation Technologies and Sanmina, where she served most recently as Vice President of Project Management and Onboarding.
