Introduction to Printed Circuit Board Design
Do you need to understand PCB designs? IPC has the solution for you. Introducing PCB Design Fundamentals, a two-part online course featuring a live instructor with more than 25 years of experience in design. You will learn to create accurate IPC-compliant schematics, from initial schematic to final layout. The courses are delivered live and online, two evenings per week. But if you miss a session you can view recorded sessions at your convenience.
PCB Design Fundamentals One, will introduce you to schematic capture and the basics of PCB Design. This course is perfect for engineers, designers, and other knowledgeable professionals who want to focus on the capture of the architecture and electrical representation of the design.
PCB Design Fundamentals Two, builds on the concepts presented in Fundamentals One to introduce layout as well as best practices in manufacturability, reliability, and documentation. This course is ideal for industry professionals interested in learning how to implement the design architecture to produce real-world, printed board assemblies that meet IPC specifications.
Take both courses to learn about the complete process and create your own PCB from concept to completion. Students will receive a time-limited commercial software license for use during the course.
